USA
I’ve come to realize that I’m a sucker for big, awe-inspiring landscapes. Whether it’s atop a mountain, at the bottom of a canyon, or on an open plain, that humbling feeling of being so small in this giant world is dear to me. Most of my outdoor adventures in the US have taken place in New England. The White Mountains of New Hampshire and Baxter State Park in Maine will forever hold a special place in my heart. However, my travels have brought me all over the country, from the badlands of South Dakota, to the misty coasts of the Pacific Northwest, to the red rock of Utah. At last count, I’ve visited 22 National Parks, along with countless other state parks, national forests, and random local attractions. Here’s a small sample of my favorite photos from my travels around this beautiful country.
